Being a witness of the earth wearing down, I often wondered how can we change our environment for the better? And why should we conserve energy? Will my choices really have an impact, after all I am only one person... We can all see how our choices have impacted the world around us, good or bad the results surround us.
I became educated through research and learned what conserving meant and how I could start saving energy around my house and in my environment. I learned many great tips and started applying what I learned. Tips including unplugging items, turning off lights, sealing leaks in windows and washing clothes in cold water helped my drastically decrease my utility bills.
Will choices we all have made really impact the environment? Yes of course, so making positive changes will positively impact the world. How ever big or small your change is, as long as you make the change that is great. I know when thinking of a small scale we may not really make a huge difference, but together we can all make a great impact for the better!
A common thought for a majority of us is what does conserving energy really do? Simply put, it helps clean up our environment. Making changes in daily routines will not only help conserve energy, it will help save money! I know that on a small scale we might not be able to make a big difference, but together we all can make a huge difference. Solar energy will help our generation make the changes the environment is begging for. Not only is it renewable and clean, it is also more affordable than ever.
Creating solar power may not be an option for all of us, however we can all make small changes in our daily routines that will hopefully leave a positive impact. Starting by making changes in your daily routines will not only help our environment, it will also decrease your utility bills. In reality, the earth will be here long after we are gone. We are going to be passing it on for generations to come and changing daily habits will help to change the environment for the better. How do you want to leave the earth, how would you want to inherit it?
